Bearing fall viscometer

DESCRIPTION

The bearing fall viscometer is delivered assembled, with several sets of bearings of different diameter and material.

A technical manual is supplied.

Height : 1 meter.

Internal diameter of tubes : 114 mm.
This unit is delivered with :
- Two altuglas measurement tubes illuminated by a neon light
- Two tanks
- A support board
- A stopwatch
- Two valves to recover bearings and to empty the tubes.

PEDAGOGIC APPLICATIONS

Determination of the viscosity of liquids.

Determination of the trace coefficient of
bearings or other models with a known viscosity fluid.

Application of Stokes, Oseen and Klyachtro’s Laws Brenner correction (velocity) and Walther (temperature).

Determination of the empirical viscosities of Engler, Saybolt and Redwood.
