PEDAGOGIC APPLICATIONS

• Study of the basic concepts found in a R 134a refrigeration installation

• Simulation of failures common to the refrigeration and electrical circuit, initiated by an infrared remote control. Failures simulated are:
- Fault for lack of charge
- Fault for excess of charge
- Bad exchanges at the condenser
- Bad exchanges at the evaporators
- Cloudy dehydrator
- Expansion valve leakage
- Improper functioning of the expansion valves
- Improper functioning of the constant pressure valve
- Over-intensity on the compressor engine
- Phase cut on the compressor engine
- Condenser fan cut out
- Evaporators fan cut out
- Fault in the electrovalve coil
- Fault in the security pressure switches
- Fault of short cycle temporisation

• Study of different expansion methods and their failures

• Study of evaporator coupling in parallel

• Calculation of heat exchanged at the condenser and evaporator and a comparison of theoretical and practical efficiencies
Construction of the refrigeration cycle in a state diagram.

Specifications
The CRC 115 positive refrigeration unit is a refrigeration block with one level of compression similar to that currently found in industrial applications.
This equipment is designed for the study of basic concepts in refrigeration and covers the basic refrigeration mechanisms.
It utilizes refrigerant R134a currently recommended for positive refrigeration installations.
This unit is delivered with a supply of the refrigerant and with a valve, which allows for the recovery of the refrigerant.

Options
This unit can be computerized
