Liquid-liquid extraction shaking out by rotary disks

DESCRIPTION

Process of separation of the components of a liquid mixture based on the difference in solubility of the components in a specific solvent.

The extraction takes place in a medium that is agitated with stainless steel rotary disks fixed on a vertical shaft. The rotating disks disperse the components resulting in movement of the different phases.

The speed of rotation is controlled by a pneumatic agitator.

Technical documentation and instructions are provided.
